I have Inkscape and I have o lot of images. But do not have images that fit exactly the shapes of the house-parts. Unless this is explained to me I shall remain stuck.

Well, the images do not fit perfectly because I did it in an image editor (Photoshop). I use Inkscape just to load textures and put them on the UV map. The textures for you resize it in Inkscape just click it and use the arrows around to resize it. To rotate the texture double-click the texture and use the arrows to rotate it.
