now managed to do one up from that using a mixture between this and andrew price's "model a realistic earth" tutorial.

This is and excellent tutorial! However, after rendering the final image, the LavaPlanetNight section isn't appearing.

Maybe the problem is the configuration of the layers of render, make sure they are correct.

For the tutorials, its good. But i think that "Lava points" dosen't look nice =/

The texture of the lava not stayed like I wanted. I'm not very good at creating textures =(.
